TIDE PANTRY

THE WAY BACK / PACKAGING SYSTEM

Good things.
By the tide.

An illustrated packaging and merchandise family for a coastal pantry.

01 / ONE FAMILY, MANY FLAVORS

A small pantry.
A big horizon.

The brief: make a provisions family recognizable across a shelf, a kitchen and a carry bag. Deep navy gives the system its anchor. Warm cream creates room for the expressive wave language.

Calm type. Lively shapes.

Editorial serif branding meets clear utility labels. Illustration varies by flavor, while the brand and information hierarchy stay in the same place.

02 / ARTWORK INSPECTION

Turn it over.

The back matters as much as the beautiful front. The back reserves space for ingredients, allergens, quantity, origin, barcode and storage guidance.

03 / DECISIONS + HANDOFF

Recognition without repetition.

Keep

Fixed brand zone, variant label and wave rhythm for recognition. Flavor color and illustration change without moving the information.

Reject

A separate visual personality for every SKU would fragment the family. A generic badge-and-palette treatment would lose the coastal idea.

Verify

Dieline, material, supplier color profile, bleed, physical proof and required legal copy before any claim of print readiness.

Artwork and production handoff

Original illustrated fronts are available below. Use supplier-approved dielines and a physical proof for production.

04 / ABOVE THE ASK

A shelf problem becomes a usable system.

The brief

Three pouch fronts and a tote for a coastal provisions brand. The challenge: recognition across flavors and formats.

What we added

A repeatable flavor system, original illustrated fronts, a back-label inspection flow, supplier/spec checklist and clear boundaries for claims, barcode, food copy and proofing.

Why it helps

Clear recognition and information hierarchy give the supplier a useful starting point.

Evidence in this preview

Interactive front/back inspection, citrus artwork download, desktop and phone screenshots, overflow and accessibility checks. These prove the local design behavior, not manufacturing readiness.
